The Quinceañera Text - Tone and Mood

The quinceañera text is about a girl named Ana that was who talk about her party when she turn 15th years. She was a cell phone. This story was written in first person, because Ana talk about her experiences and perspective.

Mood: There are different statistics of mood in the history as the Envoy: Ana not could celebrate his birthday just like his cousin because his father hasn't had work "For a second, I felt a sliver of resentment, remembering Consuela’s Quinceañera”. The disappointment: because Anna wanted a cell phone, but when going opening the gifts weren't what she wanted and in the end received from Grandma book but  not a cell phone. " All eyes watched me as I oponed present after present- turquois earrings, midnight - blue boots, but no cell phone".

Tone: In this case the tone is nostalgia and longings because Anna was already a woman his childhood years already had passed and longings because most wanted was a cell phone, and at the same time as she writes this story makes it informal because she is a young girl."I teach you everything I know I ran my fingers across the leather cover, tracing the word, “recetas””

About The Quinceañera Text

Ana was a girl with Mexican traditions. Ana would be 15 years and this would be a special date for her and her family. This event is to celebrate when a girl happens to be a woman. His father lost his job and therefore would not have enough money to carry out the party which she had dreamed of. Her family organized a party in the courtyard of their house, not was the party that she wanted to, but was happy. She received many gifts and what more I wanted is that one of those was a cell phone. She didn’t have a cell phone and his parents said that she was very young to have a cell phone. Ana is feeling a loser in her school because she doesn’t have a cell as the others. One of the gifts was the book of recipes of grandmother, Ana cared only about the material, but then gave importance to the special gift from his grandmother and thanked her.

                      The Grand Mosque of Paris

1)      The grand mosque of Paris talks about the discrimination that the Jews lived in France, and how the Kabyles did some things to help them in order to get their freedom. In the World War II in France there was not people to work in factories to do the hard work and the things that the country needed. In that war France lost lots of people for this reason they obligated Jews to work in there. This reading is related with the key terms of the two units, for that reason I related with the Nazi culture, Nazis discriminated Jews for the differences between them and also related with the Muslims creativity because they made plans to help Jews escaped from Paris. They imagined how and what ways they could use to be free.

2)      If I had been a Jew at that time and had to escaped from Nazi people in France. I had escaped before the war end, I had made a plan with some people to plan and organize the ways to escape. First we had waits until all Nazis had gone to sleep and take advantage of the night and use sub terrain tunnels to go to the mosque. Once we had being in the mosque split up in groups to escape more effectively and not at the same time. I had used commercials boat that returns without merchandise and hide the Jews in the down part of the boat. Finally when we had been free in another country I organize how we could live in that new country, for example, what we can do to find a work and a house.  I am sure that in that case that we had to escape I had done all possible to be free, because is not fair that Jewish for the differences in culture and the problems that they had with Nazis. They had to be prisoners and do that they said. Jewish people deserved to be free because they had rights in the same way as Nazis had.
